Course Requirements:

CELTA entry requirements vary depending on the provider. To consider your application you should be aged 18 years or above and will need to demonstrate that you have:

• A standard of education equivalent to that required for entry into higher education.
• A good command of the English language (both writen and spoken).
• The ability and passion to succeed.

Selection Procedure:

We select our candidates on a case-by-case basis. To apply for our CELTA, you have to submit a pre-interview task, followed by an interview. These are the steps involved:

• Expressing your interest in taking our CELTA course.
• Submitting a pre-interview task.
• Attending an interview, and confirm your place.

CELTA Assessment:

CELTA assessment is throughout the course, with no final examination. It is conducted in two parts, written and practical.

• Teaching Practice: You will teach and observe for a total of 6 hours each. Evaluation is based on your overall performance.
• Written Assignments: You will complete 4 written assignments focusing on a different aspect of the syllabus.
